TYPES OF RAW MATERIAL

STARCH BIO-BASED MATERIAL

Starch can be used to reduce the carbon footprint of traditional resins because they can replace petroleum-based polymers with natural ones. It is also highly degradable, meaning it can be used alongside a compostable polymer without interfering with the degradation process.

BAGASSE/RICE HUSK/AGROFIBRE

Bagasse pulp, as a natural by-product, has become an increasingly important material for tableware and other packaging applications. , its carbon balance is significantly lower compared to conventional polymer production which is in addition to the processing itself supported by its feature as being an abundant and renewable waste-material.

WATER SOLUBLE POLYMERS

Solubags are made with polyvinyl alcohol (or PVA), a water-soluble substance that doesn't contaminate the environment or its fauna. ... While traditional plastic bags contain petroleum derivatives, which take up to 500 years to degrade, Solubags take only five minutes to dissolve when submerged in water.

VIRGIN PAPER PULP

Virgin fibers create paper with higher absorbency rates, better ink color and retention, and softer and more durable options. Providing effective and high-quality products reduces waste because guests won’t have to use multiple paper towels or a large portion of the toilet paper roll to satisfy their needs. Better products also contribute to cost savings over time.

RESIN/PLA POLYMERS

Unlike the aforementioned natural polymers that can be harvested directly from nature are some polymers not available in significant quantities from the environment, but can be synthesised from naturally occurring bio-sources such as starches or fibres. Polylactic acid (PLA) and Polyhxdroxyalkanoates (PHA) are the two most important biodegradable plastic substitutes within this category

Bio seeding bags will also improve productivity of replanting. it eliminates the requirement of cutting and removing of bags in the replant seeding process. Bio bag will simply degrade and composed into the soil that holds the seeding.
